Hello Mr. Dung yes we arrived home safely yesterday and it feels very cold here. We really enjoyed our tour in Vietnam and the services provided by your staff were excellent as usual. Please pass on a big thank you to them all. Everyone had a great time.We will give some thought as to whether we want to change the route for next year and will be in touch with you again soon for a quotation. Can you please let us know if we want to use the usual route via Muong Lay and Dien Bien, will the valley be flooded and will we have to change our route and accommodation? Best wishes Pat & John From:

Sent: Thursday, December 10, 2009 12:57 PM Subject: RE: Hanoi to Luang Prabang Mountain Bike Tour Dear Mr. Dung, I’m already in my office. The transfer home was smooth and without any problems. I enjoyed the trip very much and was very satisfied with the both guides, in Vietnam and Laos. It was almost exactly What I was expecting from the tour. Looking forward to make another trip, maybe Northeast Vietnam next year? Once again thank you very much! With kind regards, Marko Zumer

Dear Green Trail Tours: We did have a lovely trip through Ha Long Bay, and Kwan, Phang, and Vu, were hard working and gracious. It was a shame and not too pleasant at times when the generator went out, on the second day of five days, because hooking up to another boat gave us lots of petrol fumes. Our guide Phong was fabulous, and we felt lucky to have him. You should really keep him working for you as much as possible, because he has an easy going personality, and always happy! And he has loads of information to tell. I would suggest you put a few hooks in the rooms because there was no where that we could hang anything up. Overall, the Ha Long trip will be the highlight of our Vietnam trip, and we loved all the kayaking. Best wishes, Nancy Donahoe

Subject: group OK dear dzung we just returned from a 3 weeks trip through china and india and it is high time to say THANK you for an excellent organisation of the last two tours in march and april. during my trip in china I got the message that our next group in jan 2010 is also definitly operating, more than 15 people have already booked. my tour leader Mr. sehgal also told me about the very good last guide for my two groups, so that i would like to request you to confirm mr. Chu forthe upcoming group. In the next Mr Sehgal will NOT come along, just a tour leader, with no experience in Vietnam and cambodia, so I need TOP CLASS guides in both countries to take care of them. Preferably Mr. Chu in Vietnam and Mr. dara in Cambodia Can u pls confirm the same. I will send you a first rooming list in the next few days, as soon as I have set up my desk with best regards Jördis Könnecke-Sehgal (Germany)
From: ROBERT WESTMEYER Date: 2/9/2009 6:49:12 AM To: Dung/Green Trail Tours Subject: Re: NORTHERN BIKE TOUR (4 Days)(NAPA CA); Hi Mr. Dung: Here are the answers to your questions on the survey I forgot to fill out when leaving for home. Tour Programs: Northern Bike Tour (4 Day) & Glimpse of Vietnam Did you receive enough advance information: Yes How did you rate your tour programmed? Rather interesting During your tour did you prefer the meals served in hotels or outside restaurants? Outside Restaurants. However, some of the meals were at the usual tourist type restaurants. We would have preferred less touristy restaurants some or most of the time. Was anything missing from the program? No Transportation: Safety: Very Good Cleanliness: Very Good Driver: Very Good Hotel: Flower Hotel: Very Good Hang Village Home: VERY VERY GOOD Hin Village: OK; Not Great Long Hotel: Very Good Duy Tan Hotel Hue: Very Good Elios: Good Kim Thoa, Mekong Delta: Excellent Guide: Don't remember the names. The Guides in Ha Noi and Saigon were wonderful and spoke very understandable English. The guide in Hue spoke terrible English. Friendly and seemed to know his tour material well but his English was very very bad. He needs to work on his English. The fellow that picked us up at the Saigon airport when we arrived in Saigon spoke perfect English. He should be a guide! Highlights of the Trip: The bike ride through the national park although it was a bit harder than I imagined on the dirt paths. Getting across the street in Saigon! The Rice Noodle Factory in Mekong Delta. Negative Aspects of Trip? None although on those bike rides you need to let tourists know there will be some muddy spots. You said you would get me a 61-62cm bike because I am 6 foot 4 inches tall; but it was a bit smaller than that and so the ride uphill was more difficult that I expected. Next time I'm checking the size of the bike before we leave on the tour!! Would you recommend your friends to visit Vietnam? Yes!! I'll use your services again when we tour Laos and Combodia in the coming years. Further comments: Green Trail Tours needs to provide the Flower Hotel with a much better map of the old quarter. We got lost a couple of times walking around and had to take a taxi!! Or better yet Green Trail Tours should provide the map when the tourist shows up and pays the money for the tours. I would have paid 35,000 Dong for a decent map and been happy about it! Great trip! Testimonial (feel free to include my e-mail address): The Green Trail tour people (Bike Tour and Glimpse of Vietnam) did a wonderful job. Pickups and dropoffs at the airports were invariably on time. The English spoken by the guides with one exception in Hue for 2 days was very understandable (we were in Vietnam on tours with Green Trail Tours for 17 days). The detail of information regarding historical places and events was wonderful. Highly recommended. R. Westmeyer USA
